Moving listeners through memory, love, loneliness, triumph, and surrender, Barbara Hannigan leads the Orchestra in a program of Haydn, Vivier, Ligeti, and Strauss. Soprano Aphrodite Patoulidou joins Hannigan — herself an acclaimed soprano as well as conductor — to reminisce about how Hannigan’s artistic mentorship blossomed into a deeper collaborative connection.
