Grammy Award–winning composer and conductor Eric Whitacre joins The Cleveland Orchestra Chorus to mark its 75th season in a special concert celebrating the ensemble’s rich legacy and bright future. Director of Choruses Lisa Wong opens the evening with the Dylan Thomas–inspired 𝘍𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘏𝘪𝘭𝘭 by John Corigliano. Following this, Whitacre leads the US premiere of his 𝘌𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘳, an expansive meditation on William Blake’s “Auguries of Innocence.”
